The Journey - January 2025
Wow, it’s been one year since I last published my newsletter.
And I’m inspired to start it again.
To share what touches me, what marked me, and that you too can get something out of it.
I want to start this year with my biggest learning so far:
To not feel lost or insignificant, you must trust. And in order to trust, you must believe: believe that everything will turn out well, and most importantly, believe in yourself.
The greatest gift you can give someone else is make them believe in some parts of themselves that they let go of.
And the greatest gift you can gift yourself is believing in yourself, and if that’s not the case, believing that you will believe in yourself eventually.
It’s easier to crush a dream than to build one. But the alternative is to live in senselessness, emptied of one’s own internal drive for creation, contribution and well-being.
My wish for 2025, is that you - and I - collect experiences, surround ourselves by people and develop a talk to ourselves that says yes, that says “you can” and that says “it’s possible”.
As a leader, you must be a positivist. You must see things as they are and believe that they can be better. If you don’t lead with your vision, then someone else’s vision will drive others, including you.
So, to a 2025 where we believe in ourselves, where this belief brings up visions that are aligned with us, and where we engage with the world to turn these visions into reality - not attached to the outcome, but fully committed in the process.
Hugs,
Gui
PS: I’ll go back’s to my standard newsletter format soon. Maybe. Actually, I don’t even know. What I know is that I’ll share from the heart, and hope that whatever is happening within me touches a part of you too.
