Free course

The coliving course for spaces that run better.

One email a day for five days: concept, community, operations, marketing and money. Free, built from 200+ operator interviews for The Art of Coliving.

Most coliving lessons get learned the expensive way: an empty room here, a burned-out community manager there, a model that only works on the spreadsheet. This coliving course compresses a decade of those lessons into five short emails, one a day.

Each email takes one lever of a healthy coliving business and gives you the best practices behind it, drawn from the operators who got it right.

The format is deliberately small. One lever a day is enough to act on, and five days is enough to cover the whole machine: what you promise, who lives there, how it runs, how it fills, and how it earns.

One lever a day

1

A concept worth choosing

What your space stands for and who it serves. Style over form, beyond the floor plan.

2

A community that clicks fast

How residents find their people in days and start participating in the life of the house.

3

Operations that hold

Removing friction with the right tools and routines, so the team spends its time on residents.

4

Marketing that fits the concept

Communicating what your space stands for and reaching the residents it was built for.

5

A model that sustains itself

The money side of coliving and what financial sustainability asks of your model.

Material tested in real houses

The course is built from 200+ operator interviews conducted for The Art of Coliving, the book the industry calls its bible, and from advisory work with 70+ coliving businesses across 13 countries, including the 25 companies that went through the world's first coliving incubator.

Behind it is Gui Perdrix: former operator with 550+ residents hosted across Barcelona, Bali and Tulum, and president of Co-Liv from 2020 to 2024. The same material feeds the Artof.Co Method, the CLOS(E) journey and the 8 Co-Pillars we use in advisory.

Useful at three different stages

The course serves three kinds of builders: people creating their own coliving space, founders building a coliving business, and developers adding shared living to a project. If your rooms are already full, use it as an audit; the five levers double as a checklist for an operation you want to sharpen.

After day five you stay on the Artof.Co newsletter, where the same levers keep showing up in our publications and case studies. When a question needs more than an email, advisory picks up where the course ends.

The practical details: five emails, one a day, free. You'll also join the Artof.Co newsletter, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
